I. Chair Melvin Philpot, call the monthly meeting to order at 2:07 pm.

II. Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance
Commissioner Alvin Moore led the Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance.

III. PUBLIC APPEARANCES
Commissioner Kerry Wiggins and Mr. Britt Henderson made a presentation for their program, Unity Youth Association (UYA), and proposed a parking agreement to use the SHA Property for parking.

IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES

1. June 13, 2024
   A motion was made by Commissioner Victoria Murphy, seconded by Commissioner Twila Roberts, and carried, that the Board approve the June 13, 2024, minutes of the Board of Commissioners' meeting. The Commissioners voted as follows.

AUTHORIZATION FOR THE SEMINOLE COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY TO OPERATE IN THE JURISDICTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA

Chair Melvin Philpot called to have the resolution pulled for discussion.

A motion was made by Commissioner Victoria Murphy, seconded by Commissioner Alvin Moore, and carried, that the Board approve the Resolution 2024-09. The Commissioners voted as follows:

Commissioner Victoria Murphy resigned as a Board member.
