December 16, 2024 OHA Board Meeting Minutes

The Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Orlando, Florida (OHA) held a Special Board Meeting on Monday, December 16, 2024. Chair Brooks called the meeting to order at 3:02 p.m. This is the third (3rd) meeting of the 2025 fiscal year.

Commissioner Sascha Rizzo was sworn in as a new member of the Orlando Housing Authority Board of Commissioners.

CONSENT AGENDA
The Board of Commissioners acted upon the following consent agenda items through a single vote. Vice Chair Brice Aikens motioned to approve the Consent Agenda. Commissioner Sascha Rizzo seconded the motion. It was carried. The Board approved the Orlando Housing Authority Board of Commissioners' Consent Agenda.

   AUTHORIZATION TO AMEND THE SECTION 8 HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER ADMINISTRATIVE PLAN TO ADOPT THE SMALL AREA FAIR MARKET RENTS (SAFMRs) BASED ON ZIP CODES

   AUTHORIZATION TO ADOPT THE SECTION 8 HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER PROGRAM SMALL AREA FAIR MARKET RENTS (SAFMRs) PAYMENT STANDARD IN THE MOVING TO WORK YEAR 14 PLAN AND TO SUBMIT THE AMENDED PLAN TO THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT
